Motyka was fatally wounded on Thursday, October 6, 2011 in Detroit. Mr. Motyka was parked in his vehicle in front of a residence located in the 500 block of Holbrook between Beaubien and Oakland Streets when he was killed. The incident took place at 11:30 p.m. Brian Motyka Flyer
