Marcell Law, a.k.a. “Pookie” was murdered on Thursday, July 14, 2016 at 11:30 p.m. Marcell was in front of his home with his family, keeping an eye on his son and nephew who were riding a bike up and down the street. Unknown suspects approached them on foot from the side of his home. The suspects fired shots striking Marcell and his uncle. Marcell’s uncle survived the gunshot and Marcell died on the way to the hospital. The incident took place in the 6300 block of Walton St. between Livernois Ave. and Ragoon St. near W.
