On Friday, February 5, 2016 at approximately 11:20 p.m. police were called to the 200 block of Kirk Avenue in Ypsilanti Township for a report of shots fired. It was found that 44 year old Wesley Skinner had been shot as he was leaving a house party. Skinner later died at an area hospital. The Washtenaw County Sheriff is actively investigating this incident.
