Tremaine Newburn, a.k.a. “Mainito” or “Main was murdered on Monday, January 17, 2011 on Pontiac’s west side. The incident took place at approximately 11 p.m. Tremaine Newburn and his girlfriend were walking home from the Sunoco Station on W. Huron St. An unknown person came out from behind a parked car and shot Tremaine one time before fleeing on foot. Tremaine died the next day.
