David Gergel was killed on Sunday, September 6, 2015 at 3 p.m. David was shot while traveling northbound in Woodmere, approaching Dix Street in Southwest Detroit. The shooter was in a newer model four door Cadillac that turned eastbound on Wendell after the shooting. David was only 45 years old.
