At approximately 9 pm on October 31, in Pittsfield Township, a 14 year old girl who was trick or treating was hit by a car while crossing Ellsworth Rd at Silverleaf Dr. Upon arrival, officers could not immediately locate the victim. It was then determined that she had been dragged by a second vehicle to the area of Michigan Ave and I-94 in Ypsilanti Twp. before being dislodged and left on the roadway.
Police are looking for a 1999 Volkswagon Golf, silver or gray in color. The vehicle may have front end and/or underbody damage.
