On Monday, August 31, 2015, the suspect in the surveillance photos above committed an armed robbery at Little Tony’s Restaurant in Grosse Pointe Woods. The suspect paced back and forth in front of the restaurant, withdrew a pistol from his right front pocket, walked up to the victim while pointing the gun at her and demanded her purse. The victim surrendered her purse. The suspect walked back to the side walk and then ran north on Mack Avenue. The robbery took place at 20513 Mack Avenue near Vernier. The suspect is a black male, medium to dark complexion, late 20’s -30’s, approximately 5’9” and 160 lbs.
