On Tuesday, August 5, 2010, at approximately 2:00 a.m., 20-year-old Jarett Brown, aka Bishop, was with two friends, walking down Mapleridge, when an unknown suspect began firing shots from a backyard in the 14000 block of Mapleridge, striking Jarett and fatally wounding him.
