Derrick Andrews was murdered on Sunday, August 24, 2014 at 2:16 a.m. Derrick was in an altercation earlier at the Elks Club or a party store. He was shot outside his girlfriend’s home that is located on Armstrong Drive in Ypsilanti Township. A celebration was going on for his girlfriend’s birthday at the time of the incident. There were several people at the party. Derrick was 30 years old.
