Jeremy Thompson was murdered on Wednesday, May 1, 2013 at 4 a.m. He was stopped at a train crossing when a black male approached his car with a handgun and attempted to rob him. As Jeremy drove off, the suspect shot him. The incident took place on the northeast side of Detroit at Sherwood and East 7 Mile Road.
